Dr. Zhang earned his medical degree from Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China in 1986. He recited his Ph.D. from the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the University of Tennessee in 1993. He further received a two-year post doctoral training at the Department of Pathology at Columbia University in NYC and completed an internship at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Zhang went on to complete his residency training at Temple University Hospital where he served as a chief resident from the year 2002 to 2003. Following his residency training, Dr. Zhang pursued a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia from 2003 to 2004. He has been practicing neurology in a private practice in New Jersey for over 15 years. Dr. Zhang is certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and is also certified in Clinical Neurophysiology. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology since 2001. Dr. Zhang maintains active privileges in Neurology at RWJUH at Hamilton, Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center and Capital Health System Hospitals. Dr. Zhang practices general Neurology, however, his special interests include: Headaches, Dizziness, Electromyography Nerve Condition Studies, EEGs, Occipital Nerve Block and Carpal Tunnel Injections. He speaks fluent Chinese.
